Video transcript: It’s always about identifying them, identifying new donors. So, cultivating existing donors is fairly straightforward, or relatively, but the challenge that everyone seems to find is identifying new donors and then connecting with them.
We use Altrata’s services quite regularly. So, it’s mostly about mapping networks and then also, when we’ve identified prospects, requesting the dossiers to know more about these prospects which help with that first connection.
They’ve got a lot of information, and crucially, the sort of information that we need to be able to have a successful first contact. So, you know, basic things like kind of wealth, capacity, but also, crucially, the most, the most important thing, is around their interests and their philanthropic activity. That’s really, really key. And that comes through very, very, strongly on the dossiers.
