Unlocking Business Growth: Radar’s Easy Implementation and Data Security

Discover how Radar streamlines business growth by effortlessly leveraging interaction data and professional connections, while ensuring data security and enhancing relationship mapping.

Radar is a contact intelligence tool that helps companies grow their business by leveraging company-wide interaction data and the power of RelSci relationships. We think it’s important that the most helpful tools are also the easiest to implement. With Radar, that’s exactly the case. Let’s take an in-depth look at just how easy it is to initiate, plus how it secures your data for continued privacy and resourcefulness.

Secure Data, Stronger Relationships

The power of Radar lies in its ability to recognize relational patterns and help you make impactful decisions. Think of it like a powerful digital Rolodex that can help you highlight your connection points to key decision makers and communication trends, then give you relevant data on those relationships.

As a strategic ally, Radar seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Exchange, exclusively looking at the people you interact with to build out a relationship web. Then, using data from RelSci, you get simple, intuitive data on those relationships and how they could potentially benefit your organization.

Radar boosts your ability to map relationships to the people and companies you need to reach.

Traditionally, allowing access to your exchange environment’s content may have raised concerns about privacy and security. Radar addresses these concerns head-on with a commitment to the highest standards of privacy. Additionally, our clients have full control of the system’s capabilities so that Radar’s wide-ranging functionality can be changed in an instant or even removed entirely.

What Can Radar Access?

Radar is purposefully designed to scan specific fields within an inbox—namely the “From,” “To,” “CC,” and “BCC” fields. This targeted approach, combined with metadata such as date and time sent, means they are the only things that Radar is accessing from a client’s system.  Radar is not able to scan or ‘read’ any other content.

It’s probably more impactful to emphasize what Radar doesn’t do—Radar never scans the body of your emails or the subject lines. The software is totally blind and functionally incapable of accessing this confidential data, and that’s by design.

Additionally, Radar isn’t using any of this data to enhance RelSci’s database. In fact, no Radar data is ever posted or shared anywhere outside of your organization’s RelSci account. It is starts and remains solely your property regardless of your use of Radar.  The only use of analyzing their formation is to provide helpful insights to you and your colleagues.

Contact Precision and Boundary Setting

Radar only uses a few fields to collect data, but this can be restricted even further according to a few parameters.

When it comes to precision, Radar can be set only to scan the inboxes of certain users. C-suite executives, leadership, HR, or other select groups can be intentionally excluded as dictated by your organization’s preference.

Alternatively, you can create group distributions (lists of users) that can be scanned. This means that Radar would never scan or reference anyone outside of the list. If you wanted only the sales team to have Radar implementation, it’s a simple switch. This customization makes implementing Radar extremely flexible and suited for clients with specific needs and preferences, especially those at the executive level.

Seamless Implementation for Hands-Off Impact

Data security is paramount for Radar, but seamless operation is a close second. After a fast implementation survey, getting Radar up and running with one of our experts only takes about 20 minutes. That time includes a quick walk-through, tailored preference implementation, and all the “back-end stuff” our experts are ready to handle.

After Radar has been set up, you never have to touch it again. One initial scan and clients will automatically get value in the form of:

  • Tailored Daily Digest Emails on high-priority contacts
  • Comprehensive relationship maps
  • Visual data outputs powered by 7M+ profiles via RelSci
